In January, 2006 Rob joined KidsWealth USA Inc to help market a revolutionary program that will change the way the next generation will deal with money. A native of Canada, Rob obtained his commercial pilot’s license shortly after graduating from high school and went on to enjoy a successful career flying corporate aircraft for over 10 years. Wanting to add to his education, he graduated from business school in 1979 after which he joined one of Canada’s leading banks. He and his family moved to Lakeland, Florida in 1984 where he continued in banking for another 16 years with Bank of America. In 2001 he successfully obtained his Series 7 Securities License. He is an adjunct instructor with Polk Community College and is often a guest speaker on the topic of financial education. He has presented to such organizations as: the Maryland Financial Planners Association, the Florida Financial Literacy Council, CPAlliance, Sylvan Learning Centers along with individual companies such as Cargill Juice, and Delta Airlines.

John is Vice President, Senior Market & Portfolio Construction Specialist with Goldman Sachs Asset Management. John has been with Goldman Sachs for 6 years and is primarily responsible for fixed income, asset allocation, and portfolio construction specialization. Prior to joining the product management team, John was a member of the GSAM portfolio management team, specifically focusing on tax-exempt and short duration fixed income. John has 16 years of industry experience as an investment professional and portfolio manager. As a portfolio manager, John managed large cap equity, taxable and tax-free fixed income portfolios. In particular, John managed two publicly traded municipal bond funds that consistently produced top Lipper rankings. John received a B.A. in Economics from Brigham Young University in 1991 and is a CFA charter holder.
